Currently, meetings are only offered virtually. Teletherapy is a great option to access help and it can make scheduling and attending meetings a lot easier for those living busy lives.

Time is the most important asset we have.  Given my current schedule, I’d rather devote my time to you rather than dealing with insurances. Upon request, I will provide you with a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

In addition, insurance agencies can be restrictive and rigid in the way they approach mental health. Insurance companies have (and exercise) the authority to access client records, scrutinize treatment plans and goals, and most frustrating for clients – dictate the number of sessions one can have access to.

My vision for my clients’ health is vast, and it certainly is not driven by a mental health diagnosis. My commitment is to your overall well-being and as such I customize treatment based on your needs – outside the bounds of a medical model.

Much like life, therapy can be rather fluid. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic connection with my clients for long-term support. The duration of therapy depends on your needs, but consistent attendance means better outcomes. I suggest committing to weekly sessions for 8-12 weeks, adjusting based on progress and what feels right to you. Change takes time and establishing routine is crucial for lasting impact. Without consistency, the full process may be prolonged — resulting in talk that is expensive, not cheap!

COACHING SERVICES : STRATEGIC LIFE PLANNING

This is an eight-session process totaling $900, with a down payment of $300 before the first, $300 owed before the fourth coaching session, and $300 owed before the eighth coaching session.

Please note: the last payment of $300 needs to be cleared before the last coaching session occurs and you are given your individualized Strategic Life Plan.

  • Five 50-minute coaching sessions on strategic life planning (development of goals, objectives, and specific interventions)
  • One full-hour Strategic Life Plan rollout and implementation session

ONGOING & AS-NEEDED COACHING

$130 per 50-min session (the work focuses on active oversight of the developed Strategic Life Plan and emphasis is placed on: goal and objective revisions, assessment of progress, realignment, and new goals/objectives/tactics integration).

I accept checks, credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, and Zelle.

When life happens to you, I am not here to send you a bill – unforeseen events do occur and I don’t want you to stress out over missing an appointment because you would be charged money for a service you are not getting. There is a $0 charge for canceled sessions. However, if I notice a trend in you canceling sessions (a cancellation rate of 25% — meaning two sessions out of eight), we will have an honest and transparent conversation about your commitment to therapy and I may choose to put the process on pause until a better time.

As mentioned, time is the most important asset that we have: I will certainly not waste your time, all I ask is that you return the favor!

For no-call and no-show sessions there’s a flat charge of $75.

If you are not using insurance to cover or pay for a medical item or service, you are a self-paying individual. If you are a self-pay individual, a provider or facility must give you a “good faith estimate” which outlines what you could be charged for items or services before you receive them.

The Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs related to that item or service. The Good Faith Estimate is based on information known by the provider at the time the estimate was created. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unforeseen costs that may arise during the course of treatment. An individual could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute the bill. If you are billed at least $400 more than this Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.

You may contact the health care provider or facility listed to let them know the billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate. You can ask them to update the bill to match the Good Faith Estimate, ask to negotiate the bill, or ask if there is financial assistance available.

You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date of the original bill.

There is a $25 fee for use of the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price of this Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.

To learn more and get a form to start the process, go to www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

Always keep a copy of the Good Faith Estimate provided to you in a safe place.
